Observation

Nicki really likes praise, it makes her smile and she is visibly happy to hear it. Julia, on the other hand, doesnot have much of a reaction when she is praised.

We had fun yesterday, I set up the sprinkler, which promptly broke, so I instead used the hose to make an arc that they ran under, they kept calling it their "rainbow", and sometimes "hurricane". I think they definitely picked up on the Hurricane Katrina from hearing Aga and I discuss it. Took them to GRandma Sally's for dinner Saturday and they drew me some great picture which I brought to work. Julia made a multi-colored bug, that is smiling. Nicki's picture is mainly pink, with some red, blue and green, it is just a pattern.

Nicki found a Star Wars figure, Boga from the most recent film, and she had Aga buy it for me, at a garage sale on Friday. Nicki told me that she knew I wanted it because I had been trying to collect two of each figure, and she knew I only had one of these.

Luckily nothing terrible happened yesterday, I do wonder if an act of terrorism will occur again on September 11th someday.
